Scraptalk.com Reviews the Arccivo magnetic portfolio
8/3/2007
ARCCIVO
Look what just arrived at my door...the coolest, newest page-layout assistant around...of course they sent one in PINK! Seriously, wasn't sure I needed this or even wanted one of these, but after using while cropping recently, it fits right into my scrapbook method. Everyone always has a hard time getting started once you unpack all your stuff at a crop, so my answer to getting the creative juices flowing is to leave an unfinished, but mostly planned layout to start first. I've been doing this for years. Somehow putting down my title or gluing my embellishments helps gets me going. But one problem I've had is my planned layout tends to shift from the end of one crop to the beginning of the next one. This can be frustrating...but wait...NO LONGER....because ARCCIVO is a workspace designed for you to layout your pages and then if you can't finish them, simply lay a fabric covered magnet on top of your layouts. Then simply close and zip up for safe keeping until your next cropping session.
The exterior is a beautiful blossom pink and the interior is a neutral black. I think using it as an actual worksurface like they suggest isn't for me, but I will use it everytime I crop to save "the start of my creative juices" for next time....GREAT idea!
